Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Senior tri-captain Brittany Scott led the Rutgers-Camden softball team to a 6-2 record at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her arm and her bat. The right-handed pitcher posted a 4-2 record and a 1.60 ERA in 35 innings while recording the sixth perfect game in program history. She allowed 27 hits and eight walks, while striking out 42. Her perfect game came in a 17-0 win over Southern Vermont College March 15, aided by nine strikeouts in the five-inning game. Offensively, Scott hit .481 with a team-leading 14 RBIs on the trip. She had four doubles, one triple, one home run and eight runs scored, while slugging .815 and posting a .469 on-base percentage. For the season, Scott has hit safely in all 12 games for the Scarlet Raptors, while leading the team with a .475 batting average, six doubles and 15 RBIs. On the mound she is 5-3 with a 1.46 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 48 innings.
