Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Junior Brianna Kearse produced Rutgers-Camden’s highest finish at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend at Rowan University. Kearse placed fourth of 15 in the hammer throw on Saturday with a distance of 37.70 meters (123-8) to account for five out of the total 14 points the women’s team scored in the meet. The 37.70-meter throw was the top hammer throw of the spring for Kearse, who set the Rutgers-Camden program mark as a sophomore with a throw of 39.84 at the Oscar Moore Open (April 1, 2016).
