Freshman Abby Banner continued her fine play for the Rutgers-Camden women’s tennis team, winning both her singles and doubles matches during the Scarlet Raptors’ lone competition last week. Banner notched a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fifth singles and combined with Lexi Sample for an 8-0 win at third doubles to help Rutgers-Camden post a 6-3 victory at McDaniel College Saturday. Banner has won her last three singles matches and four of her last five, hiking her singles record to 4-2 during her rookie season. She is 3-2 at fifth singles and 1-0 at fourth singles. She also owns a 2-2 record at third doubles, teaming with Sample.
