Senior outside hitter Cortnee Wilkerson earns her second Raptor of the Week honor this fall after a record-setting performance this week for the Rutgers-Camden volleyball team. Wilkerson became the program’s all-time leader in matches played, hiking her total to 123 during a tri-match Saturday at Wilkes University. She broke a three-way tie at 121 matches with Olivia Rowland (2012-15) and Caitlin Marchlowitz (2013-16). Wilkerson, who also earned Raptor of the Week honors on Sept. 25, collected 30 kills, 12 service aces, 42 digs, two blocks and one assist during three matches over the week, including a double-double of 16 kills and 16 digs in her record-setting 122nd match against Wilkes. Later that day, she had seven service aces, while adding 16 digs and seven kills against Utica College. In addition to holding the program record for matches played, Wilkerson ranks third all-time in both sets played (422) and kills (875), and should move into second place in both categories when the Scarlet Raptors play their New Jersey Athletic Conference playoff first-round match Tuesday night at Stockton University. She also is ninth with 685 career digs and tied for 12th with 90 career service aces. This season, Wilkerson leads the team with 306 kills (the second-highest single-season total in program history and only 11 shy of the record), 996 attack attempts (second on the program list) and 62 service aces (fifth). She ranks second on the team with 271 digs this season.
