Junior forward Isaac Destin posted team-leading averages of 20.0 points and 7.0 rebounds during the week for the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball team, helping the Scarlet Raptors to a 1-1 week. In an 85-74 win over the City College of New York on Dec. 11, he collected nine rebounds and a game- and career-high 26 points, while adding one assist, one block and one steal. In a loss to Bryn Athyn College Saturday, he had 14 points, five rebounds, one block and one steal. For the season, Destin is second on the team in scoring (15.2 ppg) and leads the club with 18 blocked shots and a rebounding average of 7.7. He also has added 14 steals (second on the team) and eight assists. Destin’s big week hiked his career scoring output over 700 points at Rutgers-Camden. He now owns 709 points and 342 rebounds as a Scarlet Raptor, while his 41 career blocks moved him into ninth place on the program’s all-time list.
