In the Scarlet Raptors’ only basketball game of the week, senior guard Marcus Taylor scored 10 points, had five rebounds and added a team-high five assists in a loss at Baruch College Saturday. The five assists lifted Taylor into 13th place on the program’s all-time assist chart with 158. He broke a tie for 14th with Don Polk (1989-92) at 153 assists and moved past the former 13th-place assist man, Jason Richardson (2010-15), who had 155. Directly ahead of Taylor, in 12th place, is Elwood Martz (1987-89), with 159 career assists. The Baruch game marked Taylor’s 80th career contest at Rutgers-Camden. In addition to his 158 assists, he has produced 611 points, 223 rebounds and 70 steals and 18 blocked shots over his Scarlet Raptor career.
