Junior guard Gabby Greene’s big week for the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team included a program career record, a 30-point/seven trey game and a pair of conference victories for the Scarlet Raptors. Greene was one of the key cogs in the Raptors’ 76-68 overtime comeback win at Ramapo Jan. 3, notching 15 points and three steals. Five of her points came in overtime, including one of her three treys. That set the stage for her record-setting game in the Raptors’ 80-70 win at Kean University Saturday. Greene scored 30 points, aided by 7-for-8 shooting from three-point range that lifted her career total to 175 treys, breaking the old program mark of 172 by Alex Gravinese (2012-15). Green was 10-for-13 overall from the floor and her 30 points hiked her career total over the 800 plateau to 806. It was the third 30-point game of her stellar Raptor career. In addition to holding the program’s career three-point record, Greene also is the Raptors’ record-holder for most treys in a game (11, on only 15 attempts, at Rowan University on Jan. 25, 2017) and most in one season (82 last year).
