Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Freshman LeAnne Hall was one of the many stars as the Rutgers University-Camden women’s tennis team edged Stockton University, 5-4, in its season and New Jersey Athletic Conference opener on Saturday. It was the first time the Scarlet Raptors ever beat the Ospreys since they re-started their women’s tennis program in 2011. Hall’s contribution was huge in her first collegiate competition, as she won the final match of the day with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at fourth singles to clinch the win. She also combined with junior Aubrey Hawn to post an 8-2 win at second doubles. Hall was an All-Conference and All-Group 1 player during her scholastic career at Arthur P. Schalick High School.
