Freshman back Breana Winder continued her outstanding play during the week, anchoring the Rutgers-Camden defense during a 1-1-1 stretch that included a 4-1 win over Neumann University and a 1-1 tie against powerful Montclair State University in the Scarlet Raptors’ New Jersey Athletic Conference opener. The tie against MSU was only the second time in 21 career meetings that the Scarlet Raptors have taken a point from the Red Hawks, who are now 19-0-2 all-time against Rutgers-Camden. Winder is one of six newcomers to start all six games for the Scarlet Raptors, with five of them being freshmen.
