Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Eberhardt turned in a stellar performance as the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 tie against No. 25-ranked Rowan University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game October 10. Eberhardt faced 23 shots and saved all 12 shots on goal to set her Rutgers-Camden high for saves. It was the first time the Scarlet Raptors had managed a tie against Rowan since 2008 and only the third time in 20 career meetings the Raptors managed a tie against Rowan, which has won the other 17 games in the series. A first-year Scarlet Raptor who transferred from West Chester University, Eberhardt has started 12 games for the Raptors in goal this season, posting a 5-5-2 record, three shutouts, an .824 save percentage and a 1.31 goals-against average. Her play has been one of the many reasons the Scarlet Raptors have qualified for the NJAC playoffs for the first time since 2007.
