Senior captain Gabby Green became the 13th player in Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball history to join the 1,000-point club when she hit a second-quarter three-pointer Sunday afternoon in the consolation game of the Neumann University Tip-Off Tournament. Greene finished the day shooting 8-for-15 on three-point attempts to collect a game-high 24 points, lead the Scarlet Raptors past Hood College, 78-65, and raise her career scoring output to 1,016 points. Greene, who already holds program single-game, single-season and career marks for three-pointers, averaged 16.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.67 assists while helping Rutgers-Camden to a 2-1 week. For the season, the Raptors are 3-1 and Greene leads the team in scoring (16.3 ppg), steals (12) and three-pointers (17, on 38 attempts for a .447 percentage beyond the arc). She also owns eight assists and is averaging 2.3 rebounds. From the foul line, she is shooting a perfect 10-for-10.
