Junior guard Fatimah Williams scored a career-high 28 points in the only game of the week for the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team last week. Williams added three steals, two assists and a team-high seven rebounds in a 91-81 loss to New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Rowan University. She shot 10-for-21 from the floor and 8-for-11 from the foul line while passing her previous career high of 21 points, set on Nov. 13 against Penn State-Schuylkill. Through the first five games of the season for the 3-2 Scarlet Raptors, Williams leads the team in scoring with an 18.0 average. In her 29 career games with Rutgers-Camden, Williams owns a 12.4 scoring average.
