Senior guard/forward Ariel Robinson had a big week as the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team won a pair of games in New Jersey Athletic Conference action. Robinson, in her fourth year with the Scarlet Raptors, averaged 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists in wins over Stockton University Wednesday and William Paterson University Saturday. After collecting six points, two assists, two steals and tying for a team-high five rebounds in the Stockton game, Robinson collected a huge double-double as the Raptors edged Paterson, 75-72. She scored a career-high 22 points, aided by 9-for-10 shooting from the floor, and completed her first double-double of the season with a team-high 11 rebounds. She added two assists and a team-high three steals. Her clutch 4-for-4 foul shooting in the closing two minutes helped the Raptors hold off the Pioneers. In 81 career games, Robinson is averaging 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds at Rutgers-Camden.
