Rutgers University-Camden senior Richard Stolz captured honors as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Golfer of the Year over the weekend as he led the Scarlet Raptors to a dominating performance while capturing their eighth NEAC championship in the 11 years they have been conference members. Stolz shot a two-day score of 77-71—148 to earn medalist honors at the 39-man NEAC Championships, which were played at the Par 72, 6,607-yard Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, Pennsylvania. His performance earned him NEAC Golfer of the Year honors, as well as NEAC First Team recognition. It was his fourth medalist honor of the spring semester. Stolz, who is averaging 74.1 in seven rounds of competition this spring, will lead the Scarlet Raptors into the NCAA Division III Golf Championships, which will be held May 14-17 in Nicholasville, Kentucky. This Raptor of the Week honor is the second for Stolz this spring. He also earned the award on April 1.
