Sophomore Tiffany Trivers was one of the many stars for the Rutgers-Camden women's tennis team, which won three straight matches by 9-0 scores last week to improve its record to 4-2. Trivers went 6-0 during the week, winning all three of her singles and doubles matches. She captured victories at second singles against Cairn University (6-1, 6-0 on Sept. 11) and Kean University (6-2, retired on Sept.14) before playing her first collegiate match at first singles against Juniata College and posting a 6-4, 6-1 win Sept. 15. She also teamed with senior captain Danielle Lemma to win all three of her matches at first doubles, beating Cairn (8-2), Kean (8-3) and Juniata (8-4). Trivers, who was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Co-Rookie of the Year and the Rutgers-Camden team MVP during her freshman year, owns a 4-2 record in singles (3-2 second singles, 1-0 first singles) and a 3-3 mark at first doubles this season. For her young career, she is 14-3 in singles and 11-7 in doubles.
