Junior Bobby Andrews has made a huge impact as a center back during his first season with the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program. A transfer who played two years with Rowan College at Gloucester County, Andrews helped the Scarlet Raptors post a pair of 2-0 shutouts last week with a win over Immaculata University Wednesday and a big victory over #19 Montclair State University in the New Jersey Athletic Conference opener for both teams on Saturday. The Raptors held the Mighty Macs to only three shots, while limiting the powerful Red Hawks to 10, only four on goal. A two-time All-Garden State Athletic Conference player at RCGC, Andrews has helped the Scarlet Raptors post five shutouts and a 0.66 team goals-against average during their 7-2 start to the season.
