Sophomore back Breana Winder played a big role in the first two victories for the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer team last week. In a 2-1 victory at Neumann University on Wednesday, Winder scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute for the first game winner of her career, while turning in another stellar job at center back. Winder kept up her outstanding defensive play as the Raptors edged Kean University, 2-1, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game Saturday. She leads the 2019 Scarlet Raptors in scoring with two goals for four points. As a freshman, Winder was named the NJAC Rookie of the Year and captured NJAC Second Team recognition.
