Sophomore goalie Natalie Eberhardt turned in a phenomenal performance for the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer team during the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs on Saturday. Eberhardt collected a career-high 14 saves as the sixth-seeded Scarlet Raptors went 110 minutes of scoreless soccer at third-seeded Stockton University before the Ospreys advanced to the NJAC semifinals in a penalty kick shootout. Ten of Eberhardt’s saves came after halftime. Her 14 saves tied for the seventh-highest single-game total in program history, only three behind the single-game mark shared by four players. Four days earlier, Eberhardt made four saves in the Raptors’ 2-0 loss, also at Stockton. For the week, Eberhardt made 18 saves in 200 minutes, had a 0.90 goals-against average, one shutout and a .900 save percentage. For the season, Eberhardt played every minute of every game (1,640:00), the third-highest single-season goalie total in program history, posted two shutouts, a 1.98 goals-against average, made 79 saves and posted a .687 save percentage.
