Destin shot 20-for-26 from the floor in the two games and averaged 24.0 points, while adding 6.5 rebounds, two blocked shots and one steal. In an overtime loss against host Arcadia on Saturday, he scored 15 points, shooting 6-for-9 from the floor. In a consolation game win over Rosemont College Sunday, he scored a career-high 33 points, passing his previous high of 32, set against Kean University on Jan. 6, 2018. He added 12 rebounds for a double-double and shot 14-for-17 from the floor. His performance earned him recognition as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week when the NJAC released its first honors of the season November 11. Destin, who entered his senior season with 801 career points, now is only 151 shy of joining the 1,000-point club for his career.
