Men’s basketball senior forward Isaac Destin earned his second Raptor of the Week honor of the young season after a dominating performance during the Scarlet Raptors’ 73-68 victory at The City College of New York Saturday. Destin collected his second double-double of the season with game-high totals of 28 points and 17 rebounds, while also adding one assist, one steal and a game-high two blocks. His 17 rebounds set a career high and his 28 points pushed his career scoring output to 901. With the Scarlet Raptors clinging to a 71-68 lead in the final seconds, Destin grabbed a defensive rebound off a missed CCNY three-point attempt. He was fouled and sunk a pair of foul shots to clinch the victory, lifting Rutgers-Camden to 3-1. Destin, who also earned Raptor of the Week honors on November 11, is averaging 25.0 points and 9.5 rebounds through his first four games this season.
