Junior Jude Misko shattered his own Rutgers-Camden indoor track program record in the weight throw, while finishing second out of 18 athletes at the Seahawk Shootout Friday. In his second meet of the season, Misko had a weight throw of 16.27 meters to break his old mark of 15.80 meters, set on Dec. 1, 2018 at the TCNJ Indoor Open. In his first two meets of the season, Misko has recorded two ECAC qualifiers in the weight throw. In the Raptors’ opening meet on Dec. 6, his throw of 15.08 meters placed him fourth out of 29 athletes. He has been the top Division III weight thrower at both meets and has trailed only four Division I athletes over those two meets. During the 2019 outdoor track season, Misko set the Rutgers-Camden program record in the hammer throw (54.59 meters) and captured the New Jersey Athletic Conference and ECAC championships in that event.
