Track star Emily Hilt earns her fifth Raptor of the Week honor during her spectacular indoor season. Hilt, who has sophomore eligibility during the indoor season, captured the weight throw title and finished second in the shot put at the ECAC Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championships March 6-7 in New York City, launching a shot put of 12.74 meters and a weight throw of 14.28 meters. Hilt added another impressive honor Monday when she was named to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Atlantic Region Team in the shot put. Hilt’s season also has included a New Jersey Athletic Conference championship in the shot put and NJAC Honorable Mention recognition in the weight throw, in addition to setting Rutgers-Camden program records in both events (13.01 meters in the shot put and 14.75 meters in the weight throw). She previously won Raptor of the Week honors on December 9, January 27, February 10 and February 17. She also has been the NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for Women’s Track & Field on both December 16 and Feb. 10.
