Senior first baseman Marissa Beebe earns the final Raptor of the Week honor in the abbreviated 2020 spring sports season after playing a big role in the softball doubleheader sweep over Gwynedd Mercy University on March 9. In what turned out to be the final two games for the softball team, Beebe went 4-for-5 with three runs, one RBI, one double and two walks as the Scarlet Raptors swept the Griffins, 4-0 and 11-5. She went 2-for-3 with one double and one run in the opener, while going 2-for-2 with two runs, two walks, one stolen base and one RBI in the second game. For the doubleheader, she hit .800 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .857 on-base percentage. She added 10 putouts in as many chances. During the four-game season for the Raptors, which was called due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Beebe helped the team post a 3-1 record by hitting .455 (5-for-11) with three runs, one RBI and three walks. She had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 21 putouts in 21 chances.
