Jude Misko earns his second Raptor of the Week honor in three weeks after a championship performance at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field meet on Sunday at Ramapo College. Misko won the NJAC hammer throw championship for the second time in his stellar career, throwing 61.16 meters to win the event by nearly 6.5 meters in the 16-athlete field. With his first-place finish, Misko kept his streak alive of winning the hammer throw at all six of his meets this spring. He also won the NJAC hammer throw title in 2019 and was the NJAC weight throw champion during the 2019-20 indoor track season. Both the 2020 outdoor season and the 2020-21 indoor season were cancelled due to the pandemic. Misko currently holds the second-best Division III hammer throw in the nation – his program-record 61.19-meter toss set on April 24 – and will compete in the hammer throw at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships on May 29 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
