Jude Misko earns his third Raptor of the Week honor this spring after closing out the 2020-21 scholastic year as the Division III national champion in the hammer throw. Misko’s throw of 60.48 meters won the NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina. He finished first in a field of 17 athletes, winning the title by 0.47 meters over the national runner-up. Misko completed his year by finishing first in the hammer throw in all seven of his meets this spring, including the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship, when he won the second NJAC hammer title of his Rutgers-Camden career. Misko also raised the bar on his own program record for the hammer throw, setting the standard with a 61.19-meter throw at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Collegiate Invitational on April 24. He also was the Raptor of the Week on April 26 and May 10.
