Junior right-handed pitcher John Kasper made an impressive Rutgers-Camden debut during the second game of the Scarlet Raptors’ season-opening doubleheader sweep Sunday. Kasper, a transfer from Camden County College, hurled a three-hit shutout as the Raptors defeated SUNY-Oneonta, 4-0, in a seven-inning game. He walked one and struck out five.
