Emily Hilt dominated the women’s field competition at the ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships last week at Southern Connecticut State University. Hilt swept ECAC championships in all three of her events, the hammer throw, shot put and discus. As a result, she earned her fifth Raptor of the Week during the 2021-22 scholastic year. Hilt’s hammer throw of 52.42 meters not only broke her old program record of 51.53 meters, but also qualified her for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where she will compete in the event Saturday in Geneva, Ohio.  She also won the ECAC shot put (12.93 M) and the discus (34.87 M) titles. During indoor track season, Hilt was named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on both Dec. 13 and Feb. 14. She won Raptor of the Week honors for outdoor season on March 28 and May 10, prior to today.
