Senior Jude Misko closes the 2021-22 scholastic year the same way he ended the 2020-21 year, as Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week after winning the NCAA Division III national championship in the hammer throw. Misko’s hammer throw of 60.42 meters earned him his second straight title at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday in Geneva, Ohio. He joined Tim VanLiew, who won the NCAA Div. III javelin title in 2012 and 2013, as the only Scarlet Raptors to win a pair of individual national track & field titles. In doing so, Misko also earned his fourth honor this year as Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week. His previous Raptor of the Week honors came on Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 during indoor track season and on May 16 during outdoor season.
