Senior setter Brinn Hassan passed a volleyball milestone Thursday night at the Palestra when she collected 25 assists to hike her career total to 2,006. Hassan became only the second player in Rutgers-Camden volleyball history to pass 2,000 assists, trailing only record-holder Stephanie Miller, who had 2,692 between 2009-12. Hassan, who leads the team with 89 assists through four matches, has a chance to catch Miller if she can duplicate her 2021 season: she set the Raptors’ single-season mark last year with 861 assists. In addition to her milestone, Hassan added two kills, one ace, seven digs and two assisted blocks during the Raptors’ four-set loss against Ursinus on Thursday.
