Sophomore goalkeeper Sean Boen had another outstanding week as he helped the Rutgers University-Camden men’s soccer team reach the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs. For his accomplishments, Boen earned his second Raptor of the Week honor this fall after winning his first one on Oct. 3. In the Scarlet Raptors’ final regular-season game on Oct. 26, Boen notched six saves as Rutgers-Camden defeated The College of New Jersey, 3-0. He earned his second shutout of the week three days later as the Scarlet Raptors played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Rutgers-Newark before advancing on penalty kicks in the NJAC quarterfinals. Boen made nine saves in that game to keep Newark scoreless. For the season, Boen owns eight shutouts, 98 saves, a 1.16 goals-against average and an .824 save percentage.
