Guard/forward Jalissa Pitts earns her second consecutive Raptor of the Week honor after averaging 23.5 points and 7.0 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team. She also added four steals and three assists in the two games. Pitts scored 22 points and hauled down seven rebounds in a loss against Neumann (Nov. 15) and collected 25 points and seven rebounds Saturday as the Scarlet Raptors won their first game of the season with a 63-55 victory over Bryn Athyn College. She scored 15 of her points in the second half against Bryn Athyn as the Raptors rallied from a two-point halftime deficit, including 11 in the fourth quarter as Rutgers-Camden erased a six-point deficit. She shot 13-for-15 from the foul line and added seven rebounds, two steals and two assists in the game. For the season, she is averaging 25.5 points in her four games.
