Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Sophomore left fielder Chris Bonafiglia hit .500 with a .588 on-base percentage and an .857 slugging percentage in four games last week for the Rutgers-Camden baseball team. Among his seven hits were two doubles and a home run. He scored two runs, collected two RBIs, went 2-for-3 on stolen base attempts and reached base three times as a hit batsman. Defensively, he collected two outfield assists in a game against Immaculata, throwing out a runner at third base and starting a relay to get a runner at the plate. In the second game of a doubleheader sweep against Ursinus College Saturday, Bonafiglia went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a home run, barely missing the cycle when his final hit ended up as a double instead of a triple. For the season, Bonafiglia is hitting .350.
