Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Junior Alexis Marini repeats as the Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week and earns her third honor of the 2022-23 scholastic year after a fine performance Friday on the first day of the Lions Invitational at The College of New Jersey. In her only event, Marini finished first in a field of 34 athletes in the hammer throw, winning the event with a PR of 48.16 meters. Her previous PR of 48.00 meters was set April 1 at the Widener Invitational.  Marini previously captured Raptor of the Week honors this year on Dec. 12, for indoor track, and April 24, for outdoor track.
