Senior Emily Hilt earned Raptor of the Week honors after a brilliant showing at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held over the weekend at Ramapo College. On Saturday, Hilt captured her second consecutive NJAC title in the hammer throw, while setting a meet record of 54.19 meters. She finished first of 24 athletes and broke the meet record she set while winning the event in 2022. On Sunday, Hilt finished third of 25 in the shot put (12.03 meters) and third of 22 in the discus (35.92 meters) while competing in those events for the first time this spring. The Raptor of the Week honor is the third this scholastic year for Hilt, who also won it during indoor track season on February 6 and on April 3 for outdoor track.
