Junior first baseman Diego Salazar helped to power the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team to a 4-0 week, hitting .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles, one home run, six RBIs and four runs scored. He added on sacrifice fly and was hit by a pitch, compiling a .444 on-base percentage and a lofty .750 slugging percentage. He also had a perfect week defensively with 36 putouts and four assists in 40 chances, while participating in five double plays. For the season, Salazar has appeared in 17 games, starting 16. He is hitting .339 with five doubles, one home run, seven runs and 14 RBIs. He owns a .482 slugging percentage and a .406 on-base percentage, in addition to a team-leading total of 128 putouts.
