Senior Alexis Marini earns her seventh career honor as the Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week, and her second one this scholastic year, after her title-winning performance at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. Marini captured the conference title in the hammer throw, finishing first in a field of 17 athletes with a distance of 50.86 meters. She also finished fifth of 15 in the discus (35.83 meters) and 13th of 20 in the shot put (9.85 meters). Marini captured her first Raptor of the Week honor this year on January 15 for her performance during indoor track season. A brilliant student as well as a talented athlete, Marini is headed to the University of Georgia School of Law in the fall.
