Sophomore Sydnie Marshall had another successful weekend on the track, turning in strong performances at back-to-back meets at the FastTrack National Invitational (Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island) and the Frank Colden Invitational (Saturday at Ursinus College). At the FastTrack meet, she broke the Rutgers-Camden program record in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 27.20 while finishing 38th of 79 athletes. Her time broke the mark of 27.40 set by Catherine Fiore on Dec. 6, 2014, at the Bow-Tie Track Classic. On Saturday, Marshall set a PR of 8.57 in the 60-meter dash while finishing 23rd of 48. She also ran on the Scarlet Raptors’ 4x400 team, which placed ninth of nine squads (4:56.96). The Raptor of the Week honor is the second one this season for Marshall, who also captured the honor on January 20.
