Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Senior pitcher Lindsey Rodzon worked 8.2 shutout innings over two games last week, while allowing only five hits and picking up the first win of the season for the Rutgers-Camden softball team. Rodzon didn’t walk a batter and collected four strikeouts. She worked 1.2 innings of one-hit shutout relief in the Raptors’ loss to Scranton on Tuesday. On Wednesday she hurled a four-hit shutout in a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering, striking out four without walking any batters. It was her second career shutout. For the season, the fourth-year softball veteran is 1-1 with a 0.72 ERA in 19.1 innings.
