Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Freshman Cassie Guim stepped into the starting setter’s role for both of the Rutgers-Camden volleyball matches at Wilkes University on Saturday and played all eight sets in a split against Wilkes and Hood College. She finished with 66 assists, 22 digs, six kills, one service ace and one solo block. In a four-set loss to Wilkes, Guim collected 36 assists, while adding 14 digs and four kills. In a four-set win over Hood, she notched 30 assists, eight digs, two kills, one ace and one solo block. For the season, Guim has appeared in 38 sets, collecting 104 assists, 33 digs, 17 kills, six blocks (one solo, five assists) and three service aces.
