Downs had a huge week to power Rutgers-Camden to wins over Rutgers-Newark and Ramapo, scoring 58 points by shooting 23-for-43 from the floor (6-for-15 on trey attempts) and 6-for-7 from the foul line. He added 13 rebounds, four steals and one blocked shot to earn his third Raptor of the Week honor this season. Downs scored 24 points against Rutgers-Newark and 34 against Ramapo, only three shy of his career high of 37, set against Maine Maritime on November 15, 2025. His huge output pushed his career scoring total to 1,525, the third-highest point total in program history. He leads the team in scoring (21.3 ppg), steals (30) and blocks (15), is second in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and also has 14 assists. He's shooting 65-for-86 (.756) from the foul line and 119-for-239 (.498) from the floor. Downs previously won Raptor of the Week honors on November 24 and January 5 this season. Over the course of his career he now has earned 14 Raptor of the Week honors.
