Ryan had three goals in the first 26 minutes of a 5-0 victory over New Jersey City University Oct. 30 as the Scarlet Raptors improved their record to 17-0-2. It was the first collegiate hat trick for Ryan and the first by a Scarlet Raptor since Mitch Grotti accomplished the feat against St. Joseph’s-Long Island on Sept. 8, 2012. The scoring outburst gave Ryan nine multi-goal games in his 41 career contests at Rutgers-Camden. Heading into the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs, where the Raptors host a semifinal game Wednesday night, Ryan has team-leading totals of 18 goals and 40 points. Grotti set the single-season program records in both categories in 2011 with 19 goals and 45 points.
