Senior tri-captain Alex Gravinese helped the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team snap a five-game losing streak by pouring in a career-high 27 points in a victory over Yeshiva University Sunday. Gravinese shot 11-for-19 from the floor, including 5-for-11 from three-point range. Her five treys were three shy of her own single-game program record, which came when she scored her previous career high of 26 points against the College of Staten Island on Feb. 17, 2014. The 27 points lifted Gravinese over the 500-point plateau for her three years at Rutgers-Camden, giving her 513 points as a Scarlet Raptor. Combined with her 160 points as a freshman at Rosemont College, she owns 673 career points. In her first game of the week, against Richard Stockton on Dec. 10, Gravinese notched six points and tied her career high of six assists. For the week she averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals.
