Senior center Tanjae Lewis helped the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team win its second straight game on Saturday, pouring in a career-high 21 points to help her pass the 400-point plateau for her combined four seasons with the Raptors and Goldey-Beacom College. Lewis shot 9-for-12 from the floor and 3-for-3 from the line to pass her previous high of 20 points, accomplished against both John Jay College of Criminal Justice (Jan. 20, 2014) and The College of New Jersey (Nov. 25, 2014). She added seven rebounds, two assists and one steal as the Raptors defeated St. Joseph’s College-Long Island, 69-42. She now owns 416 points and 316 rebounds in her combined collegiate career. She also leads the Scarlet Raptors this season with averages of 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds. The Raptor of the Week honor is the second this month for Lewis, who also earned honors on December 1.
