Junior third baseman Katie Larson had a phenomenal week for the Rutgers-Camden softball team as the Scarlet Raptors went 5-1 in six games during the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina March 16-20. Larson hit .667 (14-for-21) with four doubles, two triples and a home run for a 1.190 slugging percentage in the six games. She had six runs and a team-leading 12 RBIs, and hit safely in five of the six games, while getting multiple hits in all five contests. In her last four games, she had three hits in each contest, capped by a 3-for-3 game with two runs and four RBIs against York College March 20. Earlier that day she was 3-for-4 with two RBIs against Frostburg State. For the season, Larson is hitting .552 in nine games (16-for-29), while slugging at a .966 clip. She leads the team with five doubles, two triples and 12 RBIs and is tied in home runs with one. She also leads the club with five multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI contests.
