Falecia Galindez (Camden, NJ/Pennsauken Tech)

Sophomore guard Falecia Galindez played a big role for the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team last week, averaging 9.7 points in three games. After playing only eight minutes and scoring two points in the first game of the week against Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 6), Galindez established a short-lived career high of seven points at Richard Stockton College (Jan. 8), while setting her career high with four rebounds. She shattered her scoring high with a 20-point performance against Kean University Saturday in her lone start of the week, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor, including 3-for-6 from three-point range. She added three rebounds and tied her career highs of two assists and two steals. For the week she shot 12-for-26 from the floor on her way to 29 points, while adding seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
