Senior setter Brooke Hassan had a stellar performance last week in the only match of the week for the Rutgers-Camden volleyball team, leading the Scarlet Raptors to a 3-0 sweep over Gwynedd Mercy University. Hassan notched a match-high 22 assists, tied for match-high honors with nine kills and also collected 11 digs to help the Raptors raise their record to 5-8. For the season she is hitting .229, the 13th-highest mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, and is fourth in the NJAC with 7.32 assists per set. She leads the Raptors with 271 assists and her 7.32 average, is second in hitting percentage, fourth in both digs (79) and aces (12) and ranks fifth in kills (54). Her 271 assists, midway through the season, already rank 12th on the program’s single-season chart, and her 795 assists are third on the all-time career list at Rutgers-Camden.
