Freshman forward Isaac Destin collected career highs of 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals during the only game of the week for the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball team, a loss at Neumann University Dec. 30. Destin’s 14 points passed his previous high of 10 (against Kean University Dec. 5), while his seven rebounds were two more than his previous high against Rowan University on Dec. 2. He also passed his previous high of one steal, accomplished three times. Destin shot 6-for-11 from the field and 2-for-3 from the foul line, while tying Neumann’s James Butler for the game high with his 14 points. He also led the Raptors with his seven rebounds and tied for the team lead with his two steals. For the season, Destin is averaging 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds, while playing in all 10 games for the Scarlet Raptors.
