Erika Suhl (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) scored a pair of goals to lead the Rowan University women's soccer team over Rutgers University-Camden, 4-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
With their sixth straight victory, the Profs improve to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the NJAC. They have won the last six games in the all-time series against the Scarlet Raptors, including five straight shutouts, and lead the rivalry, 14-0-2.
Rutgers-Camden falls to 4-6-1 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

Katie Gurba (Westampton, NJ/Holy Cross). The Profs' pressure paid off with a trio of unassisted goals in the second half, beginning with a shot by senior midfielder
Jess Durnian (Brick, NJ/Brick Township) at 59:43. Durnian turned at the top of the box and hit a high shot over Gurba for her third goal of the season.
Rowan tacked on a pair of goals in the final 7:06, beginning with a shot by Suhl for her 10th goal of the season. With 1:14 remaining, freshman forward
Michelle Carpino (Brick, NJ/Brick Township) added the final tally, her third of the season, on a long shot from the right side.
Rowan held a 23-6 advantage in shots and a 6-0 lead in corner kicks. Gurba made four saves for the Scarlet Raptors, while sophomore goalie
Carleigh Trivino (Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) had two saves to collect the Profs' fourth consecutive shutout.
Rowan returns to action Saturday with a 1 p.m. NJAC game at Ramapo College. Rutgers-Camden plays that night with a 7 p.m. conference contest at Kean University.
