Tiffany Kelly (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) added one goal and two assists to lead the Rowan University women's soccer team over Rutgers University-Camden, 6-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
Rowan improves to 7-1-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the NJAC. The Profs have won three straight games and been undefeated (4-0-1) in their last five contests.
Rutgers-Camden falls to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the NJAC, snapping a three-game unbeaten streak (2-0-1).
The Profs, who own a 15-0-2 record against the Scarlet Raptors in the all-time series, scored only 1:59 into the game when Wagner ripped a shot from the top of the box into the lower right corner, assisted by junior midfielder
Megan Carchidi (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional). Kelly notched a penalty kick at 11:45 and the Profs carried a 2-0 lead into halftime.
