GALLOWAY, N.J. (Oct. 30, 2019) – The Stockton University women's soccer team scored a goal in each half and went on to defeat Rutgers University-Camden, 2-0, in the final regular-season game for both New Jersey Athletic Conference teams here Wednesday night.
Both clubs will face each other again in the NJAC playoffs Saturday at Stockton, with a 4:30 p.m. game time. Stockton, the No. 3 seed for the playoffs, finished 6-1-2 in conference play and 14-3-2 overall. Sixth-seeded Rutgers-Camden ended the regular season with a 4-5 conference mark and a 5-12 record overall.

Stockton leads the all-time series against Rutgers-Camden, 18-1-3, with the Scarlet Raptors' lone win coming in 2003.
The Ospreys scored only 12:03 into the game when miscommunication in the Raptors' defense left the ball rolling toward an open net. Brenna Clowney beat everyone to the ball to finish off her fifth goal of the season.
The Ospreys added an insurance goal at 60:35 after Salena LeDonne hit a shot off the crossbar. Madison Dorney headed home the rebound for her third tally of the year.

Breana Winder to preserve the shutout for goalie Jennifer Devault. Devault didn't have and was aided by the one backsave as she registered her fifth shutout.

Stockton out-shot Rutgers-Camden, 12-7, including a 6-1 margin in shots on goal. The Scarlet Raptors held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
